Tips on What You Can Do For Menopause

When going through menopause it is very important to stay on top of your health. A few things you can do to feel happier and healthier are below.

  • Exercise regularly.
  • Consider looking into gut health and improving your diet.
  • Eat “happy hormone” foods such as chickpeas, oats, and lentils.
  • Pay attention to your calcium intake, this is something you lose after menopause!
  • Eat little, but often. This helps keep your blood sugar levels up.
  • Think about your drinks. Pay attention to too much caffeine or alcohol.
  • Pay attention to your mental health, and see a therapist if you notice things don’t get better.
  • Of course, always speak with your doctor if you have any other concerns.

Self-care is essential to getting through menopause. Make sure to do the little things for yourself that make you happy. Buy yourself flowers to enjoy, get a massage, take a walk in the forest, or take up a new hobby. Menopause won’t last forever, but your happiness will.
